cockpitOS is the central system for shopping centers — content, website, digital signage, all in one place.
For editors, this means concretely: Content is entered once in the cockpit and automatically appears on the website, screens, and apps. Websites can be built with v0 or Claude and directly edited with Claude. Claude can also communicate directly with the cockpit via an MCP connection — reading, creating, searching for content, and submitting for approval.

The three areas of work
1 — Cockpit: Content
The cockpit at dashboard.cockpit-os.de is the only source of truth for content. Everything visible on the website lives here: shops, events, news, offers, services.
Never "invent" facts in v0 or Claude — always enter them in the cockpit.
Your daily areas:
- Shop information, events, news, offers, hot picks, services, jobs
- Workflow & approvals — when Claude or a manager submits content for approval
2 — Website: Code & Hosting
The center website runs as code in GitHub (Organization sawmuedev) and is published via Vercel. One center = one repo = one Vercel project.
- New code/layout → v0 (in the browser, chat-based) or Claude (directly on Mac)
- Secure & go live with code → GitHub Desktop (3 clicks: Get → Secure → Upload), then Vercel builds automatically
3 — AI Support: v0, Claude, MCP

Once Claude is connected to the cockpit (→ Connect Claude & Cockpit), Claude can work in normal sentences:

Claude submits content as drafts by default (submitToWorkflow). They appear under Workflow & Approvals in the dashboard — the editorial team can review and approve them with one click.
