FAQs on the Services Page – Guide

Regarding AEO/GEO/SEO, each center has an FAQ section that, if filled out, will be displayed on every Services page of the center's website. The reason: both search engines and LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT) understand and utilize structured content in question-answer format particularly well.

To ensure our centers are well covered in such search queries and remain as visible as possible, you should fill out this section for each center in the cockpit.

Why are FAQs important for us? (Background)

  • SEO (Search Engines): Google and others use FAQ schema for Featured Snippets and "People Also Ask" boxes. Clear question-answer pairs increase the chances of being quoted directly in search results.
  • AEO/GEO (AI Visibility): In Answer Engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews), it’s not just about clicks but about citations and sources. AI systems prefer to extract structured Q&A content—our FAQPage schema (JSON-LD) provides exactly this structure.
  • A memorable sentence: SEO brings traffic, AEO/GEO brings visibility in answers – even if the user never clicks on our page. The FAQs help ensure our center is cited as a trustworthy source in such answers.

Where can I find the FAQs in the cockpit?

  1. Open the Dashboard and select the desired Center.
  2. In the left navigation, open Center → Website (or Website Configuration).
  3. Click the tab “FAQs (Services Page)” (Category Content).

There you can create, edit, delete, and adjust the sequence (top/bottom in the list) for as many questions and answers as you wish. After saving, the FAQs will automatically appear at the bottom of the Services page of the center—regardless of the chosen website template (Default, Social Lounge, Goldbeck, HBB, Event Lounge, CEV-AI-Theme, etc.).

Generate with AI (directly in the cockpit)

In the same tab “FAQs (Services Page)”, there is a button “Generate with AI”. This will allow the system to automatically generate FAQ suggestions based on the Center data (name, city, description) and the configured services (name, category, descriptions). The suggestions will be added to the existing list; you can review, adjust, and save them as usual.

Requirement: The AI integration must be configured in the cockpit (API key in settings). Then one click is all it takes—ideal for starting out or quickly adding relevant topics.

Note on display

Entries where both question and answer are filled out will appear on the website. Empty or partially filled entries will not be displayed and will not be included in the schema.

What appears on the website?

  • The FAQs will be displayed below the services list as a section “Frequently Asked Questions” with expandable questions (Accordion).
  • Additionally, the content is technically output as FAQPage schema (JSON-LD). This is used by search engines and AI systems to understand your center's content as a source and to cite it in answers.

You can centrally check the status of SEO, Structured Data, and visibility under Analytics & Insights → SEO & AI Visibility (select center, then e.g., Live Check "JSON-LD" – the schema types of the page will also appear there).

Tips for phrasing (for search engines & AI)

  • Answer first: The first one or two sentences should answer the question directly and clearly (e.g., "Yes, ...” or “No, ..." or a clear statement). After that, you can add context or additional information.
  • Provide some context: As in the dog example below: not just "Yes," but also cover related topics (drinking stations, services for dogs). This helps search engines and AI better understand the connection and categorize your center appropriately.
  • Phrase as users would ask: Ask yourselves: How would someone enter this on Google or in ChatGPT? (e.g., "Can I take my dog into the shopping center?") Using such formulations as a question helps with "People Also Ask" and AI queries.
  • Clear, fact-oriented language: Short sentences, no unnecessary filler words. AI systems and snippets prefer concise, quotable statements.
  • No pure marketing clichés: The answer should have real informational value. This increases the chances of citations and makes it seem more trustworthy.

Example: How questions and answers might look

Question:
Can I take my dog into the center?

Answer:
Yes, dogs are warmly welcomed in our center. Especially on warm days, we have set up small drinking stations for dogs at several locations in the center, ensuring that our four-legged visitors always have enough water.

The answer is consciously a bit more detailed: It not only answers the actual question but also covers related topics (e.g., dog-friendliness, services for dogs). This way, both search engines and AI systems can better understand the context and categorize your center appropriately.

Topic Ideas for FAQs (Services Page)

Typical topics that fit well with a services page and are often searched for:

TopicExample Question
Dogs / PetsCan I take my dog into the center?
ParkingWhere can I park? Are there free parking spaces?
AccessibilityIs the center accessible? Are there elevators/accessible restrooms?
Wi-FiIs there free Wi-Fi?
Changing / FamilyWhere are the changing rooms? Is there a nursing area?
Gifts / VouchersCan I buy gift vouchers? Where?
Opening HoursOn which days is the center open? Holiday hours?
Lost and FoundWhere can I hand in lost items?
Groups / EventsCan we register a group? Are there tours?

You don’t have to cover all topics—choose the questions that fit your center and your services. Quality and relevance matter more than quantity.

Pro Tip: Refine with external AI

If you want even more variations or specific wording, you can additionally use an external AI:

  • Take a screenshot of the service list and/or the services page of the center.
  • Provide the image (and possibly the center name or a brief style description) to ChatGPT (or another AI tool) and ask it to generate suitable questions and answers in the corresponding wording of the center.
  • You then incorporate the suggestions into the cockpit (via copy & paste or as inspiration) and adjust as needed (answer first, add context, check the tone).
